KC Current and CPKC Stadium have partnered with KC Streetcar to provide additional streetcar service and supplemental shuttles for the Current’s match on Oct. 25. Shuttles will be available along the streetcar line, primarily running north of Union Station and transporting fans directly to the riverfront. Like any matchday, fans can access the KC Streetcar at any stop along the route headed to the KC Streetcar Riverfront Stop.

Complimentary shuttles will run along the streetcar line from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m., primarily operating north of Union Station and transporting fans directly to the KC Streetcar Riverfront Stop.  

The Riverfront streetcar stop makes CPKC Stadium the most accessible stadium in Kansas City. Fans also now have even greater flexibility, with the ability to park anywhere along the streetcar line and ride directly to the stadium. 

Heading to a match, fans can board the streetcar at any of the 17 north-bound stops from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) heading towards the Riverfront.  The Riverfront stop provides direct, free, and accessible transportation to CPKC Stadium, Current Landing, Riverfront Park and Founder’s Park. The Riverfront streetcar stop is less than a five-minute walk to CPKC Stadium. Fans can disembark the streetcar and walk east toward CPKC Stadium on KC Current Way.

• Sunday – Thursday: 5:00 a.m. – Midnight 
• Friday: 5:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. 
• Saturday: 5:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.

CPKC Stadium’s bike valet will be in an alternate location on Oct. 25, moving further up Riverfront Heritage Trail to a dedicated location immediately to the west of River’s Edge Residences (the apartment buildings closest to the Missouri River). Signage and staff will be present along Riverfront Heritage Trail to mark the alternate location.

Cyclists are encouraged to access CPKC Stadium using the Grand Boulevard Bike & Pedestrian Bridge and Riverfront Heritage Trail, which will provide the most direct access to the alternate bike valet location for the Oct. 25 match. More information is below.  

The Grand Boulevard Bike & Pedestrian bridge now provides cyclists with a faster, safer route to CPKC Stadium from the River Market. Cyclists can access the Bike & Pedestrian Bridge at 2nd & Grand in the River Market. 

Towards the end of the bridge, cyclists will utilize the loop to merge onto the Riverfront Heritage trail allowing cyclists to access the trail without having to cross the street or Streetcar tracks. Cyclists can then follow Riverfront Heritage Trail all the way to the alternate bike valet location located immediately to the west of River’s Edge Residences along Riverfront Heritage Trail.

Fans are encouraged to utilize one of two pedestrian-friendly walking routes to CPKC Stadium: the Grand Boulevard Bike & Pedestrian Bridge, newly opened and accessible at 2nd & Grand, or the Town of Kansas Bridge, at 2nd & Main. Both bridges connect fans to riverfront. 

For fans using the new Grand Blvd. Bike & Pedestrian Bridge, towards the end of the bridge, pedestrians can access the Riverfront Heritage Trail by looping back under the Bike & Pedestrian Bridge, and onto the Riverfront Heritage Trail, allowing fans to access the trail without having to cross the street or Streetcar tracks.

Once on Riverfront Heritage Trail, pedestrians can head east towards CPKC Stadium and Current Landing.

Staff and signage will be available to help direct pedestrian traffic.

On Oct. 25, fans can access CPKC Stadium via a free shuttle service running from Union Station, located adjacent to Haverty Family Yards and the Gottleib Planetarium. Shuttle service will start at 12:30 pm and run until 7:30 pm. The shuttle will drop fans off near the KC Streetcar Riverfront Stop.  

Fans who arrive at CPKC Stadium via the Union Station shuttle will be directed down Kansas City Current Way and east into Current Landing and CPKC Stadium.  

Shuttles will pick fans up at a designated, marked location near the KC Streetcar Riverfront Stop to transport fans back to Union Station. Staff and signage will be present to designate the shuttle drop-off and pick-up location for off-site parking.  

Only parking lots at CPKC Stadium are owned and operated by KC Current. 

Most KC Current shuttles are ADA accessible. If a fan at a shuttle location needs an ADA accessible shuttle, please notify the shuttle location attendant to secure transport. A limited number of golf carts will be available to assist in transporting fans with limited mobility from the designated shuttle drop-off location to the nearest gate (and back to the designated shuttle pick-up location). Golf cart assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact your nearest parking or shuttle attendant to request assistance.
